Nonprecision (LNAV / VOR / LOC)

Lateral only → MDA is a floor; hold it to the MAP if not visual. Fly a CDFA profile (no dive-and-drive).

Precision (ILS) & LPV

Localizer + glideslope (or WAAS LPV) to a DA. Intercept glideslope from below. At DA: visual & in position, or go missed.

Missed & circling

Missed: 5 C's — Cram/Climb, Clean, Climb, Communicate, Comply. Fly the published track first, reprogram second.
Circling: stay at/above circling MDA in the protected area; lose sight of the runway → climbing turn toward the airport, fly the miss.
